She also spoke at America Outdoors for four years and recently, she spoke at the Destination Marketing Association International Annual Convention in Seattle on the changing landscape of online tourism marketing for DMO’s. Additionally, Marla consults with resorts, attractions, destinations, cities, states and regional tourism organizations to create sustainable strategies that turn online analytics into marketing tactics that get results.

Troy Thompson, Founder, Travel 2.0. Troy Thompson is a respected consultant, speaker and thought-leader in the tourism industry. As a former interactive director with NASCAR, the Arizona Office of Tourism and VISIT DENVER, Troy brings a wealth of strategic planning experience to his clients. Currently Principal and Senior Tourism Consultant at the Travel 2.0 Consulting Group, Troy provides destinations, agencies and start-ups with answers to difficult digital marketing questions.
James Hacon, Founder and CEO of Destination Content. Based in New Zealand, James Hacon speaks internationally and writes for a number of consumer and trade publications about online and collaborative marketing strategies for travel and tourism. He is the Co-Founder & CEO of Destination Content, a company that creates innovative tourism video content solutions that tell a story and embrace the importance of people and place. He is passionate about all things digital when it comes to the tourism sector and is actively involved as an advisor on a number of other projects in New Zealand.
